Palm Sunday [March 29, 1896?]
IX., Berggasse 19
Dear Wilhelm,
Only eight more days until our congress from which I expect, above all, that it will bring your head clear days. I plan to leave Saturday evening from the Northwest Station and come to Dresden or Schandau, whichever you prefer. Let the weather decide where we shall stay. If you are still free on Tuesday, then I shall be too.
I suspect that you have rediscovered the French thesis concerning the intimate relationship between nervosisme [irritability of the nerves] and arthritisme, except that you are able to trace the latter to sexual metabolism; I am very curious.
Today I am dead tired after thirteen hours of work, with only a half-hour break since yesterday. I am looking forward enormously to our Easter [congress].
With cordial greetings to your dear wife and R.W., who I hope is well.
Your
Sigm.
(March 26, Rausenberg)
