I am glad to be able to let you know that finally the long-withheld and recently rather desirable professorship has come about. Next week the Wiener Zeitung will announce it to the public who, I expect, will honor such a seal of official approval. It has been a rather long time since you received any news from me that could be associated with pleasant expectations.
