Prof. Dr. Freud
Dear Dr. Binswanger,
Many thanks for your sign of life of the 12th inst., that is, your letter with the Herder quotation. A multitude of distractions prevented me from getting down to writing a reply last week. I am of course delighted to hear that you continue to read my straggling little publications with pleasure. The next few issues of the Zeitschrift will have some more. But then there will be a long pause, for I am working on a revision of The Interpretation of Dreams for the Collected Works.2 Perhaps there will be nothing else after that.
I take it that you, your wife and your family, now so numerous, are all well, although you did not mention them this time.
With kind regards,
Yours, Freud
Typewritten letter.
