My sweet little woman
My fondest greetings for the seventeenth. We will soon have belonged to each other for 2 1/2 years; to think that we have been waiting for each other all that time! I would be sad if I didn't know the fact that you are mine is far more important than the other fact-that you are not here at my side. You are so sweet and you are so far away, but I intend to dwell on the former.
