Highly esteemed Princess
If you keep your word, there should be a letter from you tomorrow instead of a card, my sweet darling! I promise you that once we have got through this terrible period of waiting, you won't have to touch a pen for ten years. What do you think, shall we get married in August after I have got my Dozentur? I will have to take an apartment anyway and we are surely both eligible. Which reminds me: you never respond to such suggestions, you just let me talk and occasionally laugh at me-won't you for once kindly let me know what you think it is all going to be like, how long, how much, under what conditions, and so on? So I expect a very detailed expose about our future.
I might add that today I feel once again in a healthy frame of mind, something like the high spirits of convalescence. So don't be annoyed, my darling. To be healthy is so wonderful if one isn't condemned to be alone. Well, once summer comes the sluggish waters will begin to stir.
Greetings and kisses from
Your
Sigmund
