Vienna IX, Berggasse 19
February 11, 1926
My dear Friends
It was to be expected that Jeanne would pass the great test with flying colors and fulfill the consequent duties admirably, but
we are scientists after all and the confirmation by experience must be more important for us than the certain expectation. I was of course very pleased to hear that everything went so well and am even inclined to think that with today's attitude toward the sexes it doesn't make a great difference whether the baby is manifestly male or female. Especially as a clear predominance in one direction can be compensated to your liking by the result of future experiments.
My warmest greetings to all three members of the happy union!
Your
