Dear Dr. Schur
I will not be in Vienna when you get married, so I am writing to you today, several days before the event, to wish you all the happiness
you have the right to expect in your married life. Mindful of the rare kindness and conscientiousness that you have shown in caring for the remains of my physical self, I should like to endow my wishes with the power to enforce their fulfillment. This is hardly the occasion to bother you with medical reports. I only want to say that I will not forget how often your diagnoses have turned out to be correct in my case, and that for this reason I am a docile patient, even when it is not easy for me.
With kind regards
Yours sincerely
Freud
