Dear Colleague,
I write to you hurriedly, formlessly, impersonally, to enable you to make use of my technical information as soon as possible.
Sorry you are afraid of getting stuck. Doesn't happen to me all year round. I must get those technical rules of mine out soon.1
Your compulsive case is bound to be very instructive. The technique is somewhat more complicated than in hysteria, the means of repression a bit different, different dialect, but no more.
You will soon find confirmation of the activity: from the start, with your patient, one has to reckon with a great sense of guilt and with masochistic and homosexual tendencies (beating, buttocks). The brooding is the direct continuation of the earlier sexual curiosity, which is certainly still struggling with problems, even today.
