Dear Colleague,
I like your work better with each printed sheet. Please permit me to point out that the secondary elaboration (p. 46) is not quite correctly described, but this could easily be corrected in accordance with the Interpretation of Dreams. It is restricted too much to its last part, the distortion that takes place in the telling, while the essential point is the false distribution of emphasis in the whole dream content.1—I shall write to you about Burghölzli more fully next time; I am thinking of going to Zurich at the end of September; I think a great deal more favourably about Jung, but not about Bleuler. On the whole it is easier for us Jews, as we lack the mystical element.
Forgive me for not answering your question about the course for physicians. I should be very glad of it, but make sure of Oppenheim's feelings in the matter; I would not like to see you coming to any harm.
Cordial greetings,
Yours,
Freud
