Dear Professor,
I am very glad to hear that your holidays finished so well in Zurich; and I am grateful for the trouble you have taken on my behalf. I received two cards from Jung, which clearly show your influence! I am very pleased indeed that, with that, the unpleasant situation has been brought to an end. You may rest assured that in my correspondence with Jung I shall not refer in any way to what is past. It is true, I see some things at the Burghölzli differently from you; in three years of constantly being together2 one gains insight into a great deal. But I shall welcome it as a valuable result of your Z.[urich] visit if Jung is actively working with us again. I am now sending the reviews directly to him.— Heartfelt thanks to your Fräulein daughter for her provisional reply to my inquiry.3
