Dear Professor,
The eagerly awaited Jahrbuch has now been in my hands for a few days. It only became available in German book-shops a week ago. I read your analysis1 at one sitting, and I am still completely under the impression it made. I have not heard any other opinions yet; and as I know in advance what they will be like, I am not at all curious. It is certainly very gratifying to find again so clearly in the child what we have reconstructed from the analyses of adults; this feeling speaks from every line.
