Dear Friend,
In haste, without intending to answer your letter, a few words on our business affairs.
Herewith my suggestion for your review.1
Deuticke is still causing us trouble with the naming of the new Jahrbuch. If we were to do as he wants and begin a new series with this volume, there would be unspeakable difficulties in its wake. I have advocated to him that it should be called simply: Jahrbuch der Psychoanalyse VI, allowing him to put it in parentheses under the main title (des Jahrbuchs für psychoanalytische und psychopathologische Forschungen Neue Folge [New Series of the Yearbook for Psychoanalytical and Psycho-pathological Research]). Today I am correcting the narcissism in accordance with this.
Hitschmann, on my advice, is putting something about Jung in his review on the theory of drives.2
We want to clip Sadger's wings here.
I am expecting on Saturday the reprints of the bombshell and will send them on at once. Your arguments for postponing the circular are completely accepted. We shall also need to keep some distance.
