Dear Professor,
How nice that our letters did not cross again. I appreciate with great satisfaction the prospect of the early resignation of the Swiss. With Eitingon's assistance I have now dealt promptly with the further preparations for the Congress; that is to say, I have drawn up a circular that is going to all members, together with reply cards on which there are three questions to be answered: participation in the Congress, intention to read papers, and booking of rooms. It is already being printed. Tomorrow shall come the proofs, on Saturday evening it will be delivered. We shall send it out on Sunday.—Today I am adding a small enclosure relating to the Congress.1
