Dear Professor,
The reply card system has now borne fruit at last: we have received cards with no from Riklin and Mensendieck,1 and also one from Pfister with very meandering reasoning. Ophuijsen2 has agreed to come. No harm is done if one or another from “over there” is at the Congress; they can see then that things don't have to go the same way as in Munich. I am even very pleased about Ophuijsen, partly because he does not belong absolutely to Jung's adherents, and partly because in Holland the schism might perhaps be avoided, so that we may soon have a new group there.
As we now know that the Swiss are not coming, there is surely nothing more to stop you from determining the subject for your talk more precisely!
