Vasiliki Anyfioti trained initially as a Mechanical Engineer in Greece and later acquired a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at INSEAD in France. Her first career, lasting fifteen years, was as a business consultant and sales and marketing executive. Her study of psychotherapy began as a long-term personal passion fuelled by her interest in self exploration and her aspirations as a parent of two young children. This provided the impetus for her to undertake a foundation course in psychotherapy and counselling at Regent's University London. Vasiliki went on to complete her training at Regent's with a Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling in 2018-2019, and has fulfilled the criteria for her UKCP accreditation. Throughout her training, Vasiliki worked at two placements in London, offering long-term psychotherapy to adult clients. She also volunteers at an acute female ward at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. She plans to continue with research work as well as to start her own private practice.
