Zusammenfassung: Im Sinne einer Kurzbiographie wird die wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit des russischen Psychiaters Susmann Galant (1896-1978) geschildert. Seine ambivalente Haltung zur Freud'schen Traumtheorie wird hervorgehoben. Seine medizinische Laufbahn beendete er als Ordinarius für Psychiatrie in Chabarowsk.
Summary: Susmann Galant . A Russian-Swiss supporter and opponent of Sigmund Freud. The scientific activity of this Russian psychiatrist is depicted in a short biography. His ambivalent attitude to Freud's dream theory is emphasized. At the end of his medical career he became full professor of psychiatry at Khabarovsk.
