Summary: »Enthusiasm is not a conservable herring«: The echo of Loch's life and work in the Wolfgang Loch Lectures. A poem by Paul Celan prompted the author to ask whether the diversity of the Wolfgang Loch Lectures held so far is an unconscious echo of the life and work of Wolfgang Loch. The examination of the »traumatized patient« serves as a heuristic key figure. This creates a connection to the history of German psychoanalysis. There are clues that make the entire corpus of the Wolfgang Loch Lectures appear as a subliminal medium of resonance and processing, as well as a phenomenon of after-effects and a »reverberation time for transformation«, in which the historical group tensions within the DPV of the 1970s and 1980s have found their way into the lectures.
