Listening to Loewald in a Winnicottian Key: Playing with Translation

Clinical Psychologist and a Training Psychoanalyst in the Israel Psychoanalytic Society and in the IPA. She is past President of the Israel Psychoanalytic Society (2017–2020). She is on the teaching faculty at the Psychoanalytic Institute and at the Israel Winnicott Center, and head of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program of the Winnicott Center. She is in full-time private practice in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy in Tel-Aviv, working with children, adolescents and adults. Her papers, “The Point of Non-Disturbance” (2017) and “Reflections on ‘A Woman who Found She Needed a Session of Indefinite Length’” (2023), were published in Hebrew in ‘Sihot’- Israeli Journal of Psychotherapy. Her papers, “‘A Woman who Found She Needed a Session of Indefinite Length’: A Look at Chapter Four of Winnicott’s Playing and Reality Through the Prism of its Modalities of Temporality” (2024) and “The Holding of the Future in the Mind of the Analyst as an Essential Psychic Need of the Patient” (2024), were recently published in Psychoanalytic Dialogues. She is co-editor of the translation to Hebrew of Loewald’s writings, a book in process.
