The Laforgue report considers schizophrenia as a disorder of weaning, autism reflecting the refusal of the withdrawal of cathexis by the primary object. The subject finds himself in a situation of captativity, opposed to the oblativity of object life. Racamier's report explores the disturbance of the primary relationship in terms of (narcissistic) seduction. Schizophrenic disorganization, a question that opposed Freud to Bleuler, is described as a particular organization, paradoxicality, with its consequences (“insanization”).
