The two reports show how child and adolescent psychoanalysis developed in France in 1930. Marie Bonaparte and Sophie Morgenstern retrace its history with their spontaneous and lively reflections. They look at the evolution of psycho-sexuality in the child and adolescent as well as its stumbling-blocks, insisting on the role of education especially in relation to masturbatory activity. Education henceforth became an integral part of child psychoanalytic treatments.
