The author takes up the paper she delivered at a videoconference in May 2020 on the topic of Clinical Work during the Lockdown organized by the SPP. The interruption of sessions and the use of remote tools of communication brought to the fore the questions of confidentiality and intimacy that are essential to the analytic process. The author looks at the work of the analyst’s internal setting confronted with the emergence of a dangerous situation that had not been envisaged and thought about hitherto. The term “psychoanalytic interview” is proposed to describe this remote way of working.
