The author considers the interior archives as traces of psychic constructions that involve the task of integrating psychic envelopes, identifications and primal phantasies. The experience of trauma during the wars, that of the Shoah, and, in a different manner, that of the terrorist attacks confronted survivors with the unimaginable, with the breach of these psychic and bodily constructions. The work of memory undertaken by Ruth Zylberman with the survivors of 209 rue Saint-Maur in Paris 10, from stories in pictures to books, allowed them to find a place and a sense of continuity experienced prior to the inconceivable. Subsequently, even if the traumas of the camps never disappear, the recathexis of the figuration and logic of the links between affects and representations in the face of the inconceivable led the survivors to recathect the erotogenic zones and their transpositions towards integrating primal phantasies by rediscovering play processes, the experience of cultural localization before the traumas.
