This is the traumatic story of a man who was abandoned by his mother at the age of nine. He is constantly looking for a place, a Makom to live in. The analytical situation creates this space which he will gradually appropriate. It is thanks to the transference onto and into the analyst that he gradually emerges from distress and despair.
