The author wonders about the role that psychoanalysis can play in the case of the terrorist attacks that have affected France since 2015. During immediate and subsequent care, psychoanalytic listening allows us to grasp the deferred effects: it helps the victim to understand how the collective traumatic event can awaken elements of his own personal history. Such listening promotes the psychic registration of previous traumas and helps the subject to find again a personal, thus revisited, path.
