To the body object, the erotic object, the erotic body is preferred. With reference to the work of Joyce McDougall and Gisela Pankow, the author describes the difficult trajectory that certain patients have to take before their body, from being a more or less hated external object, becomes an erotic object. This evolution is illustrated by a clinical case of psychodrama.
