My presence in Paris, during the closure of the scientific activities of the APF and of the 82^nd CPLF, was an opportunity for me to reflect on questions linked to the expansion of the frame of analysis and on the dimensions of intersubjectivity involved in the construction of a third element. The integration of drive and relational models within its method is one of the challenges that contemporary psychoanalysis must meet, an openness that should facilitate, at the heart of psychoanalytic work, the discovery and creation of a third object.
