The intensity and massiveness of a clinical situation in which distress leaves no space for the breathing of creative thought illustrate the aim of this article. Rather than showing, the author tries to make the reader sense the complexity of the passionate gusts produced by involvement in and through the transference. The solidity of the bonds of the counter-transference attachment is brought into play by the inevitable unleashing of hate. This demand for work, evidence in action, is indispensable if the trace of a cathexis with an organizing value is to emerge, a precondition for opening a path towards a process of transformation of the imagos.
