In this clinical presentation of a long consultative process at the CCTP, we will try to understand what was at stake between the patient and her consultant for this work to last over a year, an unusual length of time at the CCTP. Taking up the first consultation in detail, we will show how the après-coup of that consultation led to a passionate transfero-countertransference relationship replaying the relationship between the patient and her mother. We will show the interest of the institution in these difficult consultations. Finally, we will look at the effects of this lengthy consultative process.
