The reports encourage us to revisit Emma Eckstein's journey in Freud's writings from the angle of trauma, après-coup, sexuality and the analyst's personal involvement. Although censored, traces of her can be found at key moments in Freud's self-analysis and his theoretical development, throughout his entire career.
