This contribution explores how the notion of “lost trauma”, formulated by F. Bobos, finds expression in contemporary clinical experience through a theoretical framework inspired by Imre Hermann's psychopathology of shame. lnspired by F. Bobos's report, this reflection, developed from a complementary perspective, is illustrated by a clinical vignette in which primitive shame, paranoïa, and somatization reveal the failure of the primary bond.
