We are much saddened to announce the death of Larry Gould at his home in New York on Wednesday 26th May 2010. Many of you will have known Larry from his role as Editor of Organisational and Social Dynamics from its launch in 2002 until 2007. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to OPUS through his exceptional assistance in the process of developing and launching, and through his role as Editor of the Journal, OPUS honoured Larry by making him a Fellow of OPUS in March 2007. In a world where terms such as ‘world class’ are much overused, it is pleasing to say that Larry really was a highly valued leader and contributor to our field and can justly be regarded as a renowned and respected figure. He will be sadly and greatly missed.
